About Us

Who is Dane Edwards?

Dane was raised in the West Texas town of Levelland.  At the age of 18, the call of God became obvious and irreversible, and the pursuit began.  Moving to Tulsa at the age of 20, Dane determined to pursue that calling, and began attending Rhema Bible Training Center.  It was there that Dane became familiar with the spirit of faith, and it was there that he determined to have that type of spirit in him.  Dane graduated from Rhema in 1993 and spent the next year at Oral Roberts University, where the first test of faith came in full force.  After a few weeks in school, Dane’s roommate and best friend drowned in an accident and Dane’s faith was tested to the core.  It was during this trying time that Dane came to know God in a more tangible way.  The following year, Dane went back to Rhema and began helping in Healing School at Kenneth Hagin Ministries.  It was here that Dane really cut his teeth in ministry.  Daily ministering to the sick and learning how faith works for every situation formed the preacher/teacher that Dane is today.  After spending almost two years at Healing School, Dane accepted a position with a national youth ministry.  Working in a traveling youth ministry, Dane learned the in’s and out’s of how to run an effective ministry, and how to really help pastors and leaders reach their communities.

Still pursuing the call of God, Dane moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in January 2000.  Dane attended and volunteered at Living Word Christian Center for over 3 years, as an instructor at their bible school, Living Word Bible Institute.  Teaching subjects such as, “Christ the Healer,” “Spiritual Development,” and “Faith Foundations,” Dane broadened his teaching ability and knowledge of God.

In the fall of 2005, having moved back to his home state of Texas, Dane met Allie Armstrong and the two became inseparable.  Becoming best friends, they knew the next step for them was marriage, and on October 22, 2006, Dane and Allie were married in their home church, Bastrop Christian Outreach Center.  Less than thirteen months later, the exciting news that Allie was pregnant began a whole new journey for Dane and Allie… parenthood.  Today, Dash (Dane Asher Simeon Edwards) is a very happy 19-month old toddler,  full of life and bringing smiles to all he meets.

Dane and Allie have both been very active in several settings of ministry for many years (For more on Allie, see Allie’s Story).  Although the pursuit of God’s calling has not stopped, the realization of a dream 20 years ago is coming to pass today.  Edwards Ministries is founded on the pure Word of God and the free flow of the Holy Spirit.  God woke Dane up on September 9th and said, “take the message and spirit of faith to this generation.”  Dane and Allie bring the spirit of faith, years of experience, knowledge and real compassion to everyone they meet, both professionally, and individually.  To see some short videos of Dane and Allie go to

What We Believe:

1. We believe that the Bible is the only infallibale, authoritative, and inerrant written Word of God.

2. We believe in the Divine Trinity, that God is One, but is manifested in three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, being co-equal and co-eternal.

3. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

4. We believe that Christ shall return for His church, that His coming is imminent, that He will return to the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, He shall reign on the earth for a thousand years, and then in eternity forever and ever.

5. We believe in the person, presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

6. We believe that salvation is a gift of God to man, separate from works of the law, and is operative by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

7. We believe in water baptism by immersion as a direct commandment of the Lord, and that this ordinance is for believers only, and is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

8. We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation, and is received subsequent to the New Birth.

9. We also believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is accompanied by the intitial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.

10. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross has provided healing and wholeness for the human body and soul, and that this is manifest through the living Word of God, the prayer of faith, and the laying of of hands.

11. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation.
